Cattle Egret

Here are some facts about the Cattle Egret:
- The cattle egret is a stocky heron with an 35-38 in (88–96 cm) wingspan.
- It spends most of its time in fields rather than streams.
- This heron is often seen close to cows, sheep and horses, but also large wild mammals.
- Diet is mostly large insects, grasshoppers, crickets, flies; also frogs and spiders. Additionally it can feed on crayfish, earthworms, snakes, eggs, sometimes fish.
