Pickerel Weed & Metallic Green Bee

The pickerel weed is a purple water weed flower. It is very common in Florida’s Everglades. It’s beautiful purple flowers are numerous and crowded in vertical wands. Equally important object in this photograph is the metallic green bee also known as Agapostemon bee.
